A new man-made wave pool was put into the Colorado River
this year. This wave pool is mostly for Kayakers, landlocked surfers, or even
paddle boarders to enjoy. But if you’re fishing for trout there is one thing that for sure, it will be a new sight for the
fish in that area. It is most likely not going to hinder the fish much, as they
can still get down the river, however for fishing, it could bring some new
spots for big fish to nest. There is no warranty on what this new wave pool
will do to the fish habitat if anything, however if down in this area watch in
the next coming months to see how fish react to this new tourist attraction.
